Description
This course aims to provide fundamental knowledge of Statistical Computing to perform statistical analyses with large-scale data. In this course, students will learn basic theory of statistical inference, and computations of statistical estimators and test statistics. Throughout this course, students will practice various statistical programming languages and applications such as R, SAS, Stata, and etc. While having practices with the programs, students will be able to experience and examine strength/weakness of each programming languages and applications for a particular task in statistical computing.
