Description
The study of the development of mutually beneficial labor relations in private and public sector workplaces. Through coursework, students are introduced to labor relation topics such as management’s rights; daily contract administration issues and worker involvement, including grievances, mediation, arbitration and collective bargaining. Students will be given an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of management and worker views while developing facilitation, critical thinking and creative problem solving skills.
