Description

4 hours; 4 credits. An internship course that allows students to gain directed field experience working in a professional archives environment. Students will participate in hands-on work under the guidance of archival staff and College faculty. Possible projects may include archival processing (including the creation of traditional finding interfaces for digital content), the generation of additional materials to support existing collections (such as through oral history projects), and/or the presentation of archive holdings to the public. This course can be repeated once for credit. Prerequisite: Admission to the History MA Program or the Advanced Certificate in Public History Program, or permission of the Coordinator of the History MA Program.
