Course Title

Analysis Techniques for Large-Scale Data-Spatial Statistical Techniques

Description

This course offers students the opportunity to use spatial statistical and some data mining techniques to analyze large-scale data. This includes graphing and summarizing spatial data, detecting for spatial relationship, estimating the spatial relationship and implementing spatial prediction. In addition to spatial techniques, students will also learn other computation methods for large-scale data such as Geographical Information Systems, Cluster Analysis and Factor Analysis. Direct applications of public sources of multiple large-scale data sets and geospatial data will be explored.
