Pathophysiological Concepts in Health and Illness

This course is designed to provide a critical understanding of pathophysiological concepts, issues, research and theories. Representative topics are selected to provide a comprehensive basis for understanding pathophysiologic functions in health and illness at the molecular, cellular and systemic levels of organization. Ethical, moral and cultural issues are addressed relative to quality and safe care of individuals, families, and communities.
